Specialist IT Service Operations
Be a part of a team that's ensuring Dell Technologies product integrity and customer satisfaction. Our IT Software Engineer team turns business requirements into technology solutions by designing, coding and testing/debugging applications, as well as documenting procedures for use and constantly seeking quality improvements.

What you'll achieve
As a Specialist IT Service Operations, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics - all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.
You will:
- Evaluates system configuration and software to ensure effective use of hardware resources.
- Addresses and resolves hardware, software and customer issues. Engages users to determine their potential future business requirements. Provides positive customer experience with each customer interaction.
- Apply a basic understanding of the underlying principles of a professional discipline - typically obtained through formal study. Applies research, information gathering and analytical skills.
- Selects appropriate alternatives from defined options. Collects required documentation verifies conformance of documents with standards.
- Assesses accuracy of detailed information. Tracks, maintains and produces regular and ad hoc reports. Handles detailed, structured problems. Identifies roadblocks to task completion and effectively brings them to management for resolution.

Essential Requirements
- Knowledge of basic principles, methods, technologies and practices of a professional/technical field.
- Ability to relate actual day- to-day work to business priorities.
- Generally uses existing procedures to resolve standard problems.
- Works on assignments where judgment is required a majority of the time.
- General knowledge of procedures and activities within own work area. Focused on learning the key aspects and duties of the job being performed.
