Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive the requirement of a new product or process improvement which requires the Auto Visual Inspection solution.
• Feasibility study for a new Auto Visual Inspection project.
• Design the project timeline
• Develop the Prototype system, software, andhardware
• Buy-off and qualify the Prototype system until it met all requirements.
• Transfer the system or technology to the Manufacturing team
• Support the implementation and problem-solving of design-related
• Able to travel to work abroad

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• A Bachelor's degree or Master of Engineering / Science degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Mechatronics/Electrical
• A minimum of 5 years inexperienceor a related field

PREFERRED:

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Good work attitude and ethics.
• Good fundamental understanding of technology.
• Good intercommunication and report-writing skills.

SKILLS:

• Proficient in image processing, machine vision, computer vision, AI deep learning (convolution neural network) fundamental, auto visual inspection technology, and machine vision component skill
• Proficient in SW programming of C++, C#, .Net Framework, Cognex Vision Pro and ViDi, Halcon(required item for SW developer)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and capable of working cross-functional globally
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Possesses the ability to think creatively in order to solve problems
