Job Description
- Ensuring all storerooms are secure at all time, and that all received goods are stored in their correct location.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with cycle counts or physical inventory.
- Ensuring that all requisitions are fully completed and checked before being released to the respective departments.
- Ensuring all requisition is properly authorized.
- Make recommendations to the Cost Controller regarding stock movement and also report on obsolete stocks.
- Managing the unloading, sorting, and inspection of incoming shipments, ensuring they match purchase orders and are free from damage.
- Ensuring all receiving documentation is complete and accurate, including purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving reports.
- To check and input Food and Beverage and General store purchase into the hotel inventory system.
- To ensure the goods are secured and prompt transfer.
- To ensure that goods in the receiving area are secure at all times.
- To ensure that Occupational Health and safety requirements are observed, maintained and enforced.
- Training, scheduling, and motivating a team of store & receiving or associates.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and accounting, to ensure smooth operations.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the receiving and storage process.
Qualifications
. High school diploma or equivalent bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
. Relevant experience in Store and Receiving and inventory management
. Good civil or storekeeping knowledge
. Proficient in MS Office
. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
