For this Senior Supplier Quality Specialist
You serve as a key quality expert responsible for supplier quality performance across Thailand and the ASEAN region.
This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of purchased parts, ensuring high standards in industrialization, supplier readiness, and sustained production quality aligned with company's premium expectations.
You act as a senior authority for quality-related decision-making, collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and global stakeholders to manage risks, drive improvements, and resolve complex quality issues.
Job description
- Take full ownership of supplier quality performance across all project phases within assigned scope
- Act as the main quality interface and escalation point for suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Integrate quality and reliability requirements early in development and industrialization stages
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier quality risks throughout the product lifecycle
- Lead supplier pre-selection, quality evaluation, and nomination processes
- Ensure process maturity, production stability, and consistent quality in mass production
- Manage complex quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Monitor and ensure achievement of key quality metrics (e.g., PPM, process capability, maturity levels)
- Support production ramp-up and ongoing series production to maintain stable supply and quality
- Communicate quality performance, risks, and recommendations clearly to management and project teams
PPAP / ISIR
- Oversee end-to-end PPAP and ISIR processes across the supplier lifecycle
- Plan, manage, and approve PPAP/ISIR scope, timing, and deliverables
- Act as escalation authority for critical deviations, ensuring effective resolution and corrective actions
- Evaluate supplier readiness and define improvement plans to ensure compliance before SOP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management within automotive industry (Tier 1 or Car maker)
- Strong expertise in quality planning, supplier industrialization, and PPAP/ISIR processes
- Proven ability to manage complex quality topics across multiple suppliers and international teams
- Proficiency in English and Thai (Speaking and Listening)
