As part of the world's largest travel company - Booking Holdings Group, Agoda is a global leader in the online travel space. TheTechnical Connectivity Managerwill operate within theHomes Connectivity Team, working alongside a multi-cultural team of experts overlooking Agoda's strategic accounts. Located out of ourBangkok office, this position requires close coordination with product, commercial and operational stakeholders, in order to drive partners performance.
The Opportunity:
The Technical Connectivity Manager will own a portfolio of strategic accounts and will be responsible for driving its performance through optimal connections & operational processes, which will be achieved by closely aligning with the Commercial Managers and Product Managers As such, the successful applicant will be a technical expert who can demonstrate strong project management experience, analytical acumen and excellent communication skills.
This is a role based will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
In this Role, you'll get to:
  • Own the performance of your connections including new builds, rebuilds, upgrades, day-to-day success rates, access to inventory, rates, rate plans, content and availability
  • Drive efficiency and accuracy into XML, vacation rentals PMS and channel managers connections.
  • Educate clients on all significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with executives and decision makers/key influencers within your API partners portfolio
  • Hold regular weekly/monthly optimization calls with your partners
  • Bridge the communication gaps between the product, commercial and operational teams by having a command of performance metrics and success drivers.
  • Understand and manage stakeholder needs to ensure the connectivity between Agoda and our partners is always capable of driving revenue / performance.
  • Prioritize operational scale in your decisions, ensuring there is minimal spillage into manual workload across the business.

What you'll Need to Succeed:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience of which at least 2 should be in a connectivity role in a hospitality/travel software company
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Deep understanding of the technical integrations of various software partners
  • Experience in hospitality technology space, knowledge of OTA specifications, and experience with API integrations
  • Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work
  • The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines
  • Excellent command of SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Kibana, XML and data modelling
  • Proficiency with some vacation rentals PMS systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills (externally and internally)
  • Ability to communicate value proposition to potential partners

It's Great if you have:
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to query from database is a plus
