Job Description Summary:
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
. Designs circuits and high accuracy solutions for characterization and testing in the high volume of Analog & Mixed-signal Integrated Circuits (ICs). This includes developing hardware PCBs
. Software development on automatic test equipment (ATE) for characterization and testing with cost-effective test solutions into high volume production
. Designs test plan on ATE to cover device specifications, and releases test plan documents for reference in manufacturing
. Works with IC design engineers to debug IC product in the development
. Analyzes test results, apply electronics theory and circuit analysis for silicon debug, device characterization, and new product introduction
. Analyzes device test performance and generates test limit guard-bands in support of six sigma standards
. Works with product engineers (PE) to correlate measurement between ATE and bench instrument. Work with PE to resolve correlation issues

Minimum Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
. Basic programming and component-level circuit design and debugging skills
. Sound understanding of fundamental electronic devices/circuit theory
. Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
. Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
. Willing to travel abroad for advanced training (as required)
Advantageous but not required:
. Possesses good English communication skills, written and verbal
. Thrives in a global, multi-functional team environment
. Relies on experience and judgment to best utilize available resources to plan and accomplish goals.
. Exhibits good interpersonal skills
. Experience with Teradyne microFlex, LTX, and/or ETS8

This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to US Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or US Treasury Regulations. If required, placement is contingent on Maxim's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
