Our client is a digital transformation leader focussing its efforts in manufacturing & logistics industry. Headquartered in Singapore, it is now expanding rapidly into major APAC countries and is looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to spearhead this expansion.
You will be part of the senior management team driving strategic expansion into other Southeast Asian countries. You will build a team of best-in-class sales professionals and other responsibilities include:
- Defining a regional sales strategy, in collaboration with your counterparts from other countries.
- Developing plans for proper positioning of our offerings, which also gives us a competitive advantage.
- Narrowing focus on target clients and establishing appropriate channels which will prove helpful to the sales professionals to fastrack sales cycles.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients with global presence.
- Setting weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets for the team and driving them to achieve these.
- You have at least 8 years experience within a Business Development role, within Logistics industry, ideally dealing with Digital offerings.
- You are the go-to person for this specific industry and have a solid network in the region.
- You have led sales teams in your previous roles and have a solid track record of exceeding targets, both individually and as a team.
- You have an eye for high-performing sales talent and you can build teams from scratch.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, preferably in more than one language, in order to collaborate with client operations in the region.
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You are open to traveling.
