Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

Achieve sales objectives within accounts assigned. Provide a technical service to meet customer satisfaction. Build continuous relationships with customers through effective key account management. Develop new business opportunities and value-added services to customers processes. Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate activities in ensuring all customer requirements are met.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Ensure you achieve sales target and sales development as annual plan.
  • Responsible for accounts under responsibilities and as assigned.
  • Looking for and contribute to developing a new business opportunity within assigned accounts to achieve sales target.
  • Ensure that all customer processes from Atotech are performing to the customer satisfaction in terms of quality and efficiency including cost control.
  • Implement the continuous process improvement to meet or exceed customer expectation in terms of quality and efficiency.
  • Provide timely, thorough and professional response to any existing problem in the customer process.
  • Communication and liaise with PMMs and internal stakeholders for any technical issues, business opportunity, competitor information and misc.
  • Responsible for all technical communication between all Atotech department and customers, attending all required technical meetings and communicating activities to appropriate people and all information from other regions, product specialists, etc. must be approved by the product marketing manager before being given to the customer.
  • Provide technical support and share information among sales team by providing technical assistance, consumption trends, competitor analysis and discovering other opportunities
  • Recommend quality or process improvement measure to immediate superior.
  • Additional responsibility: Safety remains the number one priority by making it an integral part in all activities; Ensure all work is completed safely & in compliance with laws, regulations & Atotech standards. Demonstrate ongoing visibility at sites & consistent interaction with staff and contractors at all levels.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Skills You Bring:

  • Graduated in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Electroplating or related field
  • 4 years experience in sales or technical support in the chemical industry
  • Experience in Electroplating is an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English as well as technical or business writing
  • Business-level proficiency in Chinese is a major plus
  • Computer literacy
  • Own a car and be able to work up-country
