Account Manager - Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking an Account Manager Operations responsible for the full operational management of a strategic client based in France.

This is a purely operational role focused on execution excellence and project coordination. It does not include any sales, business development, or revenue generation responsibilities.

The Account Manager ensures seamless project execution from order receipt through final delivery and acts as the central coordination point between the client and internal teams.

The role may also support U.S.-based clients when needed, within an international environment (Europe / U.S. / Asia).

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Management

  • Receive, review, and validate client purchase orders
  • Ensure technical and administrative accuracy before internal processing
  • Clarify any open technical or operational points prior to project launch
  • Integrate orders into internal tracking systems
  • Ensure structured and timely follow-up with both internal teams and client

2. Export & Logistics Coordination

  • Organize international shipments (France primarily, U.S. occasionally)
  • Prepare and verify export documentation in compliance with international shipping regulations:
  • Commercial invoices
  • Packing lists
  • Customs documentation
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers
  • Ensure proper shipment arrangements and timely deliveries
  • Track shipments through final delivery
  • Anticipate and manage international trade constraints

3. Internal Coordination & Project Management

Oversee the full project lifecycle:

  • Order confirmation
  • Product development when applicable
  • Coordination of design and drawing preparation
  • Production follow-up
  • Final delivery and after-sales coordination if required

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary operational point of contact for the client
  • Coordinating closely with design, production, sourcing, logistics, and finance teams
  • Monitoring project progress and internal timelines with the Planning Manager
  • Ensuring on-time execution and overall client satisfaction

If delays occur:

  • Proactively inform the client
  • Provide a reliable revised timeline with the Planning Manager

4. Reporting & Operational Follow-Up

  • Maintain accurate tracking tools (Excel-based follow-up)
  • Provide regular internal project updates
  • Ensure clear and structured communication
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational optimization

Profile & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business.

Previous experience (minimum 3-5 years) in account management or project management in the luxury business or in the Jewelry (would be a plus).

Fluent in Thai and in English (written and spoken).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Client-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
