Role Overview

Amaavigo is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and ownership-driven Accountant & Compliance Executive who can independently manage the accounts and compliance functions

We are looking for Disciplined and Organised Candidate who is flexible enough to be part of the operational activity of the company – should be open to adapt AI and processes which can streamline the workflow.

Note – Amaavigo is a small growing company with Bootstrap funding. Ambitions and Vision focused.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), payroll processing, statutory compliances, financial documentation and administrative support to Directors – Also should be open to adapt Automation process.

This role requires a highly organized professional who can ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance – should adapt to Automation

  • Manage complete bookkeeping for one or more companies  
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Process vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
  • Prepare MIS reports, cash flow reports, and financial summaries.
  • Coordinate with external CA, auditors, and consultants.

Payroll & HR Support

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Generate salary slips and payroll reports.
  • Maintain employee records and payroll documentation.
  • Track leave records and employee reimbursements.
  • Support onboarding and employee documentation.
  • HR Documents Management

Statutory Compliance

Must independently manage:

  • GST filings and reconciliations
  • TDS calculations and returns
  • Professional Tax compliance
  • PF & ESIC coordination
  • ROC-related documentation
  • Labour law compliance coordination
  • Annual filings and statutory documentation

Documentation & Administration

  • Maintain all company agreements, licenses, registrations, and legal records.
  • Organize and maintain compliance calendars.
  • Manage insurance, vendor contracts, and statutory certificates.
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of company documents.

Director Support

  • Assist Directors with financial reports and business documentation.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and compliance summaries when required.
  • Coordinate with banks, consultants, vendors, and government authorities.
  • Support strategic and administrative tasks as assigned.

Technical Requirements

Accounting Software

Hands-on experience with:

  • Tally Prime
  • Zoho Books
  • MS Excel (Advanced)
  • Google Sheets

Must Have Knowledge Of

Experience managing accounts for multiple entities will be preferred.
