Role Overview

The company is seeking dynamic and driven Part-Qualified Accountants with 2-5 years of experience to support their Finance team at their Chiang Mai office headquarters. As part of this team, the successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial and management accounting services are provided across the group of DSGPay entities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting: Assist in maintaining the financial records of the company and its group entities in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. This includes preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Management Accounting: Collaborate with the Finance team to provide timely and accurate financial data and analysis. This involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing valuable management insights.
  • Compliance and Taxation: Assist with tax compliance and statutory reporting in the relevant jurisdictions. Ensure adherence to local tax laws and regulations to maintain the company's tax-efficient operations.
  • Cross-Entity Coordination: Work closely with finance teams supporting different locations to ensure consistent financial processes, reporting, and best practices are implemented.
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors during annual audits and other reviews to facilitate the external audit processes.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in streamlining and optimizing financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
  • Finance System Implementation: develop your profile as part of projects teams installing cutting-edge financial systems, where a transformational and growth mindset is key
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices to ensure compliance and adopt best practices, and support the creation of enterprise knowledge management.
  • Payment Processing: Timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers.

Experiences

  • Part-qualified accountant with progress towards TFAC, ACCA, CIMA, or similar accounting qualification.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, management accounting, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a fintech or financial services environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Google Drive or Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel or Google Sheets, where competency is a must.
  • Knowledge of Thailand and overseas corporate taxation will be useful.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Can read, write and understand spoken English; with verbal English skills preferable
