Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior Finance & Accounting Officer to join our Finance team at our Chiang Mai headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial and management accounting services across DSGPay's group entities in the Asia-Pacific region, while also contributing to strategic financial planning, reporting, and compliance.This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is ready to take ownership of meaningful work, grow within a fast-paced fintech environment, and make a tangible impact across a multi-entity, multi-currency organisation.
 

Job Requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records for DSGPay and its group entities across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand — including preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (TFRS and IFRS).
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to management, interpreting financial data and recommending strategic courses of action.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in management decision-making.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, and actual performance against business plans; develop financial trends and projections.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Assist with tax compliance and statutory reporting across relevant jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor company bank accounts in Thailand and internationally, ensuring DSGPay's balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow are well managed.
  • Liaise with auditors during annual audits and other reviews, providing necessary documentation and explanations to support external audit processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments, contributing to company planning and aligning on future financial direction.
  • Actively participate in the optimisation of financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
  • Apply data analytics skills to interpret large financial datasets, identify trends, and present actionable insights to management through clear and well-structured reports and dashboards.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems, bringing a transformational and growth mindset to project work.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practice

 
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (TFAC, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent) — fully qualified candidates will be given preference.
  • 0 - 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, management accounting, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of both TFRS and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience in a fintech, financial services, or international business environment is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills are essential, including the use of pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modelling, and data visualisation.
  • Strong data analytics capability — able to collect, structure, and control financial data with a high degree of accuracy, and translate raw data into clear insights and management-ready reports.
  • Experience acting as a data controller or data owner for finance-related datasets, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and proper governance across reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of Thai and overseas corporate taxation is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound commercial judgement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across teams and functions.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Thai.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
