Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Officer to manage and maintain our accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and recording financial documents, ensuring accurate payment processing, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of financial documentation, value-added tax regulations, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, verify, and record billing documents such as purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and tax invoices in Excel files.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to follow up on necessary documents, including tax invoices, receipts, and other supporting financial records.
  • Coordinate and manage payment information with vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain a complete and organized set of accounts payable documents, ensuring accessibility and compliance with company policies.
  • Collect and review the accuracy and completeness of documents related to value-added tax (PP.30/36) to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support employee reimbursement processes by gathering and validating necessary documentation.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial documentation, invoicing processes, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in VAT reporting and compliance is a plus.
