Job Description

The Accounting & Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in guiding financial practices and compliance for KFC Thailand. Based in Bangkok, this position will lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, provide advisory support, and perform monthly P&L analysis. The manager will oversee billing and AR processes, partner with cross-functional teams, and review contracts and balance sheet reconciliations. With a focus on financial health, the manager will assess tech vendors and collaborate with internal audit teams on franchise audits. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive financial excellence and process improvements.

  • Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with the Shared Service Center and stakeholders for accurate P&L reporting.
  • Provide advisory support on financial processes and best practices, partnering with the Shared Service Center.
  • Perform monthly P&L analysis to identify trends, investigate variances, and deliver performance insights.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and billing processes, ensuring timely issue resolution and aging review.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to guide financial practices and provide insights.
  • Review contracts, agreements, and budgets, offering financial and tax guidance.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Present key financial process findings and issues to management, providing clear recommendations.
  • Assess the financial health of tech vendors in coordination with the Shared Service Center.
  • Collaborate with Global Internal Audit teams on franchise audits and lead COOP fund audits as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 10 years of proven experience in Accounting, preferably in Retail, FMCG, or a relevant industry.
  • Audit experience is an asset.
  • Strong planning, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent and effective communication skills in both English and Thai.
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset with a focus on process improvements.
