Accounting Associate Director

We're proud to be partnered with a well-established global insurance business in Bangkok to find a hands-on accounting leader to join their team.

We're looking for someone operationally strong, not just technically sharp on reporting. If you're the kind of leader who rolls up their sleeves, drives process discipline, and genuinely enjoys building a high-performing team from the ground up, this will be a great fit.

The Role

What You'll Own

• Day-to-day GL Operations — this is the heart of the role
• Month-end and year-end close
• Controls, reconciliations, and process discipline
• Financial reporting (regulatory, internal, and regional requirements)
• Team development and capability uplift
• Stakeholder management across internal, regional, and external parties (including OIC)

What We're Looking For

• Insurance experience is essential — candidates from adjacent financial services or Big 4 with strong insurance client exposure will also be considered
• Deep, hands-on GL Operations background (more important than a pure reporting profile)
• Proven experience managing and developing a team through change
• CPA preferred; Big 4 foundation highly regarded
• Resilient, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
• Strong English communication skills for regional stakeholder engagement
