We're looking for someone operationally strong, not just technically sharp on reporting. If you're the kind of leader who rolls up their sleeves, drives process discipline, and genuinely enjoys building a high-performing team from the ground up, this will be a great fit.
The Role
What You'll Own
- Day-to-day GL Operations — this is the heart of the role
- Month-end and year-end close
- Controls, reconciliations, and process discipline
- Financial reporting (regulatory, internal, and regional requirements)
- Team development and capability uplift
- Stakeholder management across internal, regional, and external parties (including OIC)
What We're Looking For
- Insurance experience is essential — candidates from adjacent financial services or Big 4 with strong insurance client exposure will also be considered
- Deep, hands-on GL Operations background (more important than a pure reporting profile)
- Proven experience managing and developing a team through change
- CPA preferred; Big 4 foundation highly regarded
- Resilient, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
- Strong English communication skills for regional stakeholder engagement
