Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and IFRS.
  • Review invoices for sales, credit sales, unearned revenue including account receivable receivables management and credit control operations
  • Review entries in various journals, including purchase journal, credit sales journal, cash sales journal, consignment journal, payment journal, general journal, and petty cash.
  • Review and file tax documents (PND.3, PND.53, PND.54, PND.36 and related tax filing), summarize VAT purchase and sales reports (PP.30), and reconcile bank statements.
  • Prepare and manage import tax documentation, including customs procedures and tax planning, to ensure legal compliance and optimize tax efficiency.
  • Financial closing and reporting Allocation of expenses and any common amount for preparing profit and loss by business unit and operate the function to manage level of profit balance.
  • Prepare financial summary presentations and reporting packages for senior management and regional headquarters.
  • Cost control, inventory level, financial analysis, asset depreciation and fix asset monitoring.
  • Prepare and manage payment documents including cash level monitoring
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities to ensure full compliance with all statutory and tax obligations, including VAT, WHT, half-year tax, CIT, and other relevant regulations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with global internal control and US SOX regulations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support operational activities and strategic financial planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements, automation initiatives, and system upgrades.
  • Support additional tasks as required to align with business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting and CPD/CPA qualification is preferred
  • 5+ years of overall accounting experience, especially in management accounting and taxation.
  • Experience using Oracle and/or MS Dynamic accounting program is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai tax laws, accounting standards, and local regulatory requirements Deep understanding of taxation, including PND, PP, import taxes, customs procedures, and cost management.
  • Strong team management skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Fluent in Thai; proficiency in English is an advantage
  • Must be able to work later hours or on weekends on show days
