We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting team at APPA Forwarder, a growing cold-chain logistics company. The role covers month-end closing, financial reporting, tax compliance, and team supervision. Ideal for candidates with accounting experience who are ready to step up into management. You will ensure accurate and timely reports, improve accounting processes, and support management with financial insights to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-dayaccounting operations: AP, AR, GL, and tax filings.
- Lead themonth-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and reviewfinancial reports(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management.
- Ensure compliance withThai accounting standards and Revenue Department regulations(VAT, PND3/53, withholding tax).
- Monitor and reconcilecash flow, debt repayments, and bank accounts.
- Supervise and support the accounting team (AP, AR, Cost Admin) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and the accounting office.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost/profitability analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field(CPA is a plus but not required).
- 57 years of accounting experience, including23 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Solid knowledge ofThai accounting standards, VAT, and withholding tax.
- Experience withERP/accounting systems(Peak or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Thai language required; English at a working level preferred.
