We are looking for an organised accounting officer to manage the financial bookkeeping of our business. The responsibilities of an accounting officer include analyzing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for accounting transactions/bookkeeping, ensuring they are properly recorded
- Review and monitor all balance sheet items and reconciliation monthly
- Issue invoices, tax invoices, receipts and withholding tax certificates
- Review and manage withholding tax report, VAT report as well as prepare tax submission, ensure tax compliance and deal with tax authorities
- Submit PND 3, PND 53, PND 54, PP30, PP36 and other relevant report submissions
- Be a part of reviewing and monitoring payment (AP) and ensuring invoices are settled on time as well as recorded properly and accurately
- Conduct transaction reconciliation, Income accrual, Income reconciliation, Bank reconciliation and Expenses
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure that all financial information is accurately reflected in the financial statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closings related to accounting books and ledgers
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related fields
- Certified CPD licence preferred.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Assist in year-end audit requirements and any other regulators if any
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting and related fields
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Able to work independently if required, and learn quickly and adapt to different roles in a growing team
- A sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Commercially astute, highly-driven and pragmatic, with influencing and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English and Thai languages
