Position: Accountant (E-Commerce)Job Summary
Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations for an e-commerce business, ensuring accuracy of financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting tasks including AP, AR, and GL
- Prepare and review accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, and withholding tax certificates
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, payment gateways, e-wallets) Kasikornthai Bank
- Reconcile sales data from e-commerce platforms and generate reports
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Calculate and submit taxes (VAT, Withholding Tax)
- Maintain accounting records using PEAK accounting software
- Monitor inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and stock movement
- Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, warehouse, and logistics
- Support month-end closing and annual audit process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 23 years of accounting experience
- Experience in e-commerce business is a plus
- Familiar with accounting software (PEAK preferred)
- Understanding of VAT and withholding tax
- Good Excel skills
- Able to communicate in English or Chinese
- Detail-oriented and responsible
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopee, Lazada, or other e-commerce platforms
- Experience in payment gateway reconciliation
- Experience in closing financial statements
