Accounting Specialist – Regional Support

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure financial books and records are maintained in compliance withinternal financial reporting guidelines,IFRS, andlocal GAAP
• Drive continuous optimization of the accounting structure with a focus onefficiency,collaboration, andhigh-quality reporting
• Coordinatemonthly closing activitiesin close cooperation with relevant stakeholders or group-level finance teams
• Maintain a robustinternal control frameworkto ensure theaccuracy and reliabilityof financial statements
• Manage and coordinate bothinternal and external financial audits
• Ensure theintegrity of accounting recordsand implement effectiverisk managementandinternal controlsystems in accordance with global frameworks
• Preparelocal statutory financial statementsand ensure full compliance with all local statutory reporting requirements
• Overseetax compliance, including data collection, preparation of tax returns and refund documentation, and timely submission to relevant authorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inAccounting,Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of5 years experiencein accounting or related areas
• Strong knowledge ofIFRSandlocal GAAP; familiarity with global financial reporting frameworks is a plus
• Proficiency inaccounting and ERP systems(preferablySAP) andMicrosoft Office
• Solid experience intax compliance, including filing, return preparation, and understanding of local regulations
• Excellent command ofEnglish, both spoken and written
• Proactive, detail-orientedteam playerwith asolution-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with high accountability
