Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) operations across all business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of high-volume transactions.
- Manage full procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor reconciliation, and expense recognition in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Ensure strong financial control over company expenditures by enforcing approval workflows, payment governance, and internal control frameworks.
- Optimize cash outflow management through effective payment planning, vendor term negotiation support, and working capital optimization.
- Oversee monthly AP closing process including AP sub-ledger vs GL reconciliation, accruals, prepaid expenses, and expense cut-off accuracy.
- Act as key finance partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, Retail, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between purchasing activities and financial controls.
- Manage vendor relationships and payment processes across diverse categories including merchandise suppliers, landlords, service providers, and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with Thai tax regulations including withholding tax (PND.3, PND.53), VAT input tax, and other AP-related statutory requirements.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and system enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and control in AP operations.
- Develop and monitor AP performance KPIs including payment cycle time, processing accuracy, overdue payments, and vendor reconciliation status.
- Lead and develop AP team to ensure operational excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement in a high-volume transaction environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Accounts Payable or financial operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in high-volume, multi-entity environments such as retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-channel businesses.
- Solid knowledge of: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, Expense recognition and accrual accounting, Vendor management and payment control
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and strong Excel capability.
- Strong understanding of Thai tax regulations, especially withholding tax and VAT input requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and control.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills across functions.
- Fluent in Thai; English proficiency is preferred.
