Crawford & Company is seeking an Accountant Adjuster to join our Thailand team. This role focuses on the financial assessment and quantification of claims, offering hands-on exposure to claims management and client reporting. It is well suited for early-career professionals and fresh graduates looking to build a career in the insurance and claims industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess Financial Losses: Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and supporting documentation to quantify losses arising from insured events.
- Support Claim Investigations: Establish financial impact and loss causation in collaboration with claims colleagues.
- Prepare Client Reports: Draft clear, accurate financial loss reports and supporting schedules within agreed timelines.
- Claims System Management: Maintain accurate and timely records in the claims management system.
- Stakeholder Communication: Respond professionally to queries related to the financial aspects of claims from insurer clients, intermediaries, insured policyholders, and third parties.
- External Coordination: Work with external accountants, experts, and service providers as required to support loss assessments.
- Customer-Focused Service: Deliver objective, professional services that reflect insurer clients standards.
- Ethics & Compliance: Uphold Crawford's ethics, values, and professional standards at all times.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 12 years of experience is an advantage, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop claims and insurance knowledge
- A proactive and collaborative approach
