Job Description
Develops and ensures implementation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual delivery and distribution plans for required equipment, materials and components. Works with operational, sales, finance and other stakeholders to understand anticipated demand and product-specific forecasting drivers. Ensures developed plans align with revenue forecasts, drive efficiencies and balance appropriately between fulfillment and replenishment needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop daily, weekly and monthly planning to achieve target stock levels across the distribution to avoid stock outs.
- Optimize inventory to meet the annual operating plan.
- Monitors Supply Chain metrics to understand performance, identify inconsistencies / issues and ensure appropriate resolution and/or escalation.
- Provides Demand & Distribution Planning for assigned organizational and product areas.
- Works with sales, finance, repairs production, operational and with Supply Chain, to forecast and manage equipment, material and component demand and required inventory levels.
- Engage with supplier and fulfillment partners to understand, evaluate and resolve performance issues.
- Statistical Forecasting (Time Series Forecast modelling / Causal forecasting)
- Continuously improvement of Forecasting Techniques & Approach on SKUs level
- Outlier (Interquartile range) (IQR) detection and correction / adjustment based on pattern
- Coefficient of variation (CV) and Coefficient and correlation (R2) statistical measure and measurement of risk analysis based on FA and Bias
- .Data collection, Analysis, Process improvement, Document, Standardization, Automation
- Preparation of Business synopsis and reviews it to identify the opportunities for improvement and RCA for immediate spike in demand and supply
- cost optimization and cost analysis
- Minimize Demand and supply gaps and conduct analysis
- Publish Supply chain KPIs metrics used to track the efficiency of key supply chain processes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Background of mathematics and statistics is a must
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Demand and Distribution Planning.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
