The Forensic Advisory team at Grant Thornton Thailand supports clients in navigating integrity risks and complex disputes. We assist organizations in strengthening anti-fraud frameworks, conducting forensic investigations, and resolving business disputes. Our team combines financial expertise, investigative techniques, and analytical tools to deliver practical, insightful solutions.
As an Intern, Forensic Advisory, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-world forensic and anti-fraud engagements while supporting experienced professionals in delivering high-quality advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support (Core Responsibilities)
- Assist in performing investigation procedures, including data collection and preliminary risk identification.
- Support the team in organizing working papers and maintaining proper documentation.
- Help prepare engagement deliverables, including reports, summaries, and presentation materials.
- Conduct background research related to industry, regulatory, or fraud risk matters.
- Assist in project coordination and administrative tasks as assigned.
Forensic & Anti-Fraud Engagement Support
- Support analysis of financial data such as trial balances, general ledgers, and transaction listings.
- Assist in reviewing supporting documents including invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and bank statements.
- Conduct public domain searches (corporate registry, litigation records, media, and social media).
- Support review of electronically stored information (ESI) such as emails and digital documents under supervision.
- Perform basic data analysis using Excel or other analytical tools.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Strong interest in forensic investigations, fraud risk management, and compliance.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative.
