Job Description

  • Lead and manage day-to-day aftersales service operations, ensuring high efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service experiences and proactively resolving issues.
  • Oversee and optimize workshop performance, including resource planning, labour utilization, and service turnaround time.
  • Manage aftersales business performance, including P&L, service revenue, cost control, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and expand the service network (dealers and partners) to support business growth and ensure consistent service quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key fleet customers and stakeholders to enhance long-term partnerships.
  • Lead, coach, and develop service teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements across all service operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve technical support, warranty management, and overall service excellence.

A successful Aftersales Service Manager should have

  • 8-12 years of experience in aftersales/service operations within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry
  • Proven track record in managing workshops, service centers, or dealer networks
  • Strong experience in P&L management, service performance, and business growth
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience leading diverse operational teams
  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue, control costs, and improve profitability
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers, dealers, and internal teams
  • Good understanding of technical service processes, diagnostics, and warranty management
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering service excellence
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Adaptable, resilient, and capable of driving change across the organization
