We are partnered with a well-established financial services company who are looking for a AI Consultant to help them with their AI transformation journey. We're looking for a senior leader to help shape and execute the enterprise AI vision, from opportunity identification through to responsible, scaled implementation.
The Role We're seeking an experienced AI transformation leader with a strong consulting background (Big 4, Accenture, or similar) to spearhead the AI Initiative - from current-state assessment and opportunity identification through to governance design and implementation, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
This is a high-visibility role, ideal for someone who has led AI or digital transformation engagements within a consulting environment and is ready to move client-side to build and own a transformation from within.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the organization's readiness for AI across operations, technology, data, and people
- Identify and prioritize AI opportunities across the business — spanning customer-facing areas like marketing, sales and service, as well as risk, credit, collections, finance, people, and technology functions
- Build a practical roadmap that balances near-term wins with longer-term capability building
- Set up an AI governance model covering risk oversight, responsible AI principles, and appropriate human oversight
- Help shape the right organizational setup to support AI at scale, including capability hubs and specialist teams
- Run senior leadership workshops to build alignment and support decision-making on priorities and investment
- Lead change management and capability-building efforts to support adoption across teams
- Advise on technology and vendor decisions, including where to build versus buy
- Ensure AI initiatives meet relevant regulatory, compliance, and data privacy standards for financial services
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g. Big 4, Accenture, or similar), ideally within an AI/digital transformation or strategy practice
- A demonstrated track record of driving AI strategy, implementation, and innovation - ideally within financial services or another regulated industry
- Strong understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, and model risk management principles
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, prioritized roadmaps
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with experience facilitating senior workshops
- Familiarity with data & analytics maturity assessment and technology landscape evaluation
- Change management experience, with the ability to drive adoption across diverse business functions
- Comfort operating in a client-side / in-house capacity after a consulting background, with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
