AI Engineer – Agentic Systems

About the Role

Com7 is looking for a mid-level AI Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You'll design and ship autonomous workflows, multi-agent pipelines, and LLM-powered applications for our clients — leveraging AWS-native AI infrastructure including Bedrock and Agent Core. Beyond the technical work, you'll play an active role in translating business requirements into scalable AI solutions, leading POCs from concept to validation, and taking successful prototypes all the way through to production.

Responsibilities

Technical Development

• Build multi-agent workflows and autonomous pipelines using LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen

• Develop and deploy LLM-powered apps on AWS Bedrock and Amazon Agent Core

• Implement RAG pipelines, vector search, and embedding-based retrieval

• Build backend APIs and services using Python and Node.js

• Instrument pipelines with logging, tracing, and monitoring for production reliability

POC & Production Delivery

• Lead end-to-end POCs from requirement gathering to client demo and validation

• Rapidly prototype agentic solutions and assess feasibility for production

• Harden proven POCs into production-grade systems with proper reliability, security, and scalability

Business & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Translate client business requirements into practical AI solutions

• Support the Sales team with pre-sales scoping and technical demonstrations

• Work with Project Managers and Delivery teams to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 2–3 years of software engineering experience with hands-on AI/LLM work

• Experience with at least one agentic framework — LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar

• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and/or Amazon Agent Core

• Solid proficiency in Python and Node.js

• Familiarity with vector databases, RAG patterns, and prompt engineering

• Proven ability to deliver both POCs and production-ready AI systems

• Strong communication skills and comfort in a client-facing environment
