AI Ops Engineer (3–5 Years Experience) – Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement LLM-based solutions, including effective prompt engineering for chatbots, assistants, and AI workflows
- Work with AI platforms such as Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, applying them to relevant enterprise use cases
- Develop and integrate API-based AI solutions, enabling seamless connectivity with enterprise systems through gateways
- Build and support AI-driven automation workflows, including RAG-based solutions and conversational interfaces
- Monitor and optimize token usage and limits, ensuring efficient cost management and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and improve AI responses, prompts, and workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability
AI Ops & Platform Responsibilities
- Support operationalization of AI services across environments, ensuring stability and scalability
- Continuously refine prompts and AI workflows based on usage patterns and feedback
- Assist in building reusable components and integration patterns for scalable AI adoption
Collaboration & Skills Expectations
- Apply strong analytical and listening skills to understand business needs and translate them into AI solutions
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal (soft) skills to collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions
Basic Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Python development and API development and integrations
- Good understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering concepts
- Familiarity with Claude, Gemini, Copilot or similar AI platforms
- Understanding of APIs, gateways, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of tokens/token limits and optimization techniques
- Strong analytical thinking, listening ability, and communication skills
