As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers promises. And by transporting medicines, toys and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods, you are making small and big moments possible for people all around the world. The primary objective will be to work and support team on capacity + pricing procurement + gateway volume drives complement each other, remaining a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining customers. To liaise with internal + external stakeholders while aligning the interests of each with our key objectives.
Operational / Tactical duties
. To monitor carrier transit time and operations beyond gateways to enhance its efficiency.
. To maximize margin through Unit Load Device (ULD) optimization.
. To oversee transshipment management, ensure continuous process improvement and minimize risk of damage or unexpected events.
. To oversee Phuket International Airport (HKT) gateway daily operations activities to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
. To handle daily ad-hoc procurement assignments.
. To centralized network tariffs and mapping
