Job Description
- Handle pre-arrangement claim requests by coordinating with hospitals, and medical providers prior to treatment
- Verify policy coverage, eligibility, and benefit limits before authorizing medical services
- Support line managers by developing case strategies, conducting case evaluations, and escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution
- Monitor pre-arrangement cases to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and service-level agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to pre-arranged claims and escalate complex cases when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all pre-arrangement activities for audit and compliance purposes
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the claims function
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- At least 3 years of experience in claims management
- Experience in team management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, compliance standards, and claims policies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
