Investigate, research and analyze financial transactions and customer data across all lines of business for possible suspicious activities, money laundering, and/or violations of AML/CFT regulations.
Develop, implement, and refine advanced analytics models, methodologies, and tools for AML transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, and risk assessment.
Leverage big data technologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to identify emerging AML typologies and enhance detection effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Business units to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights.
Prepare Suspicious Transaction Report
Check AML threshold reporting received from related units and submit to AMLO within a determined period.
Attend seminars and meetings organized by BOT / AMLO / TBA in relation as required and communicate with all relevant parties.
Perform AML screening and investigate on screening alerts.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in AML and financial crime prevention.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AML processes and systems.
Coordinate with IT and Business transformation team to enhance system for transaction reports to AMLO and KYC/CDD system
Take up ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance and AML/CTPF.
Strong knowledge of AML/CTPF and a solid understanding of banking products, services, and practices.
Familiarity with local financial regulators (BOT, AMLO).
Excellent command of verbal and written communication in Thai and English.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with a proactive Can-do attitude.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
