Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support our Analytics & Insights team in the sports media space. This role will focus on data preparation, analysis, and reporting across viewership, digital platforms, and media coverage, delivering insights to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including broadcast viewership, digital platforms, and media monitoring/social listening tools
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track event performance, audience trends, and media coverage
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across datasets, supporting reliable reporting and analysis
- Support analysis on event performance, athlete performance, and fan conversations across social and media platforms
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and design relevant tracking frameworks or analyses
- Maintain clear documentation of data processes and support automation or workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with coordination with external partners and agencies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business)
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately
- Structured thinking and problem-solving ability
- High level of ownership and reliability in delivering work
- Growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop both technical and business understanding
Nice to Have
- Exposure to broadcast/digital audience data, social listening, or media monitoring tools
- Familiarity with tools such as Python for data analysis or automation
- Passion for combat sports or the broader sports industry
