About the Role
Industrial Market Leader will drive market strategy, strengthen client partnerships, and lead business development initiatives across Asia, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia. This senior role will support major pursuits, enhance delivery capability, and contribute to overall regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement the industrial market strategy across Asia.
- Leverage market insights and networks to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and deepen relationships with key industrial clients and regional decision-makers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery teams.
- Maintain strong client satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive revenue growth through strategic business development initiatives.
- Meet sales KPIs including pipeline development, conversion, and revenue targets.
- Introduce innovative solutions to address industrial sector needs.
Bid & Proposal Management
- Support preparation of competitive proposals, including strategy, writing, and pricing.
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to ensure bids are compliant and compelling.
- Lead bid reviews and contribute to negotiation strategies for key opportunities.
Partner & Subcontractor Management
- Identify and assess strategic partners and subcontractors to enhance delivery capability.
- Negotiate agreements and ensure alignment with project and organisational requirements.
- Build a reliable partner network across Asia.
Technical Oversight & Delivery
- Provide technical oversight to ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Work with delivery teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain timelines.
- Ensure adherence to safety, sustainability, and engineering standards.
Financial & Operational Management
- Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with regional regulations and organisational frameworks.
- Provide accurate forecasts and contribute to annual business planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector, including senior leadership roles.
- Strong network and stakeholder relationships within the Southeast Asia industrial market.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers at regional or global headquarters.
- Proven experience across business development, bid management, partner sourcing, and technical oversight.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
