Application Developer (Java) - Contract

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and capable Project Lead to join our client's team. You will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end solutions that support business processes, working closely with users, architects, and stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality systems aligned with our Enterprise Architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Understand client business processes and work with users to design and develop end-to-end application solutions.

. Provide advice and assistance to business users in the effective use of application systems and information technology.

. Manage the development of application systems and ensure projects are implemented within budget and on schedule.

. Design solutions that are of high quality and functionally sound, ensuring a positive user experience.

. Monitor the performance of applications and work with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot issues in the production environment.

. Work closely with technical, solution, and information architects to ensure applications are robust and aligned with Enterprise Architecture.

. Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for application systems.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Technical Skills

. Experience or knowledge in CI/CD technologies such as BitBucket.

. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, Angular, and Elastic DSL.

. Experience in application development using web technologies, object-oriented programming, SQL, Java, and JavaScript.

. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
