Position Summary:

The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical and sales support for the products of both industrial and Hydro. He/she will develop and execute a strategy for providing technical and sales support to the ROA Sales Managers, Distributors and Customers in the APAC Region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support field installation and work closely with sales team to provide the customer with an appropriate solution & application, using technical product knowledge and analytical skills.
• Provide telephone and email technical support.
• Provide project management over large installations.
• Create training programs and conduct on-site trainings for RSMs, distributors and customers on both Industrial and Hydro Systems complete product line.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers to make customer technical issues/requirements understood and addressed in a timely manner.
• Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Complete all required GCS in a timely manner.
• Provide customers feedback to our R&D organization to ensure continual improvement.
• Continual updating of internal products and changing OEM requirements.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including international.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Major in Engineering, bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years experience of technical support for related electronics products
• Excellent communication skills, learning capability, self-motivator, a good team worker.
• Multi-lingual (written and spoken) in English as a must in this role.
• Basic computer skills Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to read schematic drawings and technical documents.
• Solid basic understanding of electrical, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics.
