We are looking for an
Automation Lead to drive our enterprise Application Modernization initiatives and improve Engineering Productivity across development teams.
This role focuses on modernizing legacy systems, enhancing delivery workflows, implementing automation, and establishing technology standards that accelerate digital transformation.
The ideal candidate has strong technical leadership experience in
CI/CD, microservices modernization, API integration, performance tuning, and automation engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation initiatives to improve development efficiency, deployment speed, and engineering workflows
- Modernize legacy applications into Microservices and Cloud-native architectures
- Design and develop enterprise-grade API and Integration Services
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance stability, reliability, and delivery throughput
- Analyze bottlenecks and perform performance tuning to reduce latency and improve system response
- Collaborate closely with Business, Transformation, DevOps, QA, and Development teams
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices for engineering teams
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers
- Drive continuous improvement and adopt new technologies to uplift engineering capability
Qualifications
- 610 years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or System Integration
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Engineering Lead
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Node.js, or Python
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture & API design
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or GitOps frameworks
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, or cloud-native technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
- Experience improving delivery productivity, performance tuning, or modernization projects is a strong plus
