Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Java technologies, databases, cloud platforms, and production support. The role involves monitoring applications, resolving incidents, supporting business users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 application support for production environments.
• Monitor application health and respond to incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and issue analysis.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation.
• Analyze application and server logs to identify root causes of issues.
• Validate APIs and support system integrations.
• Monitor Azure-hosted services and applications.
• Support Power BI report validation, dataset refreshes, gateways, and workspace activities.
• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Handle service requests and user queries.
• Participate in on-call production support activities.

Experience ,Education & Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years related experience
• Good functional understanding of application support processes.
• Production monitoring and incident handling.
• Service request management.
• Troubleshooting and issue triage.
• Log analysis and debugging.
• SQL query execution and data validation.
• API testing and validation.
• Cloud application monitoring.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.
