About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth within an assigned territory. The role involves building and managing a strong partner network, leading an on-the-ground sales team, and achieving business targets through effective execution and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own business targets and revenue for the assigned region.
  • Drive loan sourcing, customer acquisition, and disbursement growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with:
  • Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs)
  • Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs)
  • Wealth Advisors
  • Channel Partners
  • Brokers
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Feet-on-Street (FOS) executives.
  • Ensure partner productivity and consistent lead generation.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching.
  • Resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for faster processing and customer service.
  • Track key business metrics including leads, conversions, revenue, and AUM.

Required Skills

  • 8–12 years of experience in NBFC, Lending, Wealth Management, or Financial Distribution.
  • Strong network of MFDs, IFAs, brokers, and channel partners.
  • Proven experience in achieving business targets.
  • Team handling experience.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
