Mechanical Design & Engineering Lead the mechanical design of automation systems, specifically focusing on high-speed sortation machines, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment. Ensure all designs meet operational throughput requirements and safety standards for high-volume fulfillment environments. Review and approve technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
Vendor Management & ProcurementAct as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors and equipment manufacturers.Prepare technical specifications for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluate vendor bids based on technical merit and cost-effectiveness.Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to ensure purchased machinery meets all performance benchmarks before shipping.
Project Management & On-site Leadership Drive the project schedule from inception to handover, ensuring all milestones are met within the budget. Directly supervise on-site installation, ensuring mechanical components are integrated correctly according to the master plan. Lead the Test & Commissioning (T&C) phase, including Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical bottlenecks before go-live.
Documentation & Compliance Maintain rigorous project documentation, including design version control, O&M manuals, and commissioning reports. Ensure all installations comply with local engineering codes, safety regulations, and corporate standards.
