We are recruiting a Thai candidate to join our team in Bangkok as an Asset Management Analyst
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR :
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Financial Institution, Investment Banking, Real Estate Services Company, or financial analysis role with a desired to focus on asset management of hospitality project.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong financial and analytical skill - ability to synthetize large amounts of information, work with numbers, and identify and resolve problems based on the analysis.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and deliver under pressure.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) to enhance research, streamline administrative tasks, and improve analytical workflows.
- Strong sense of ownership and delivery mindset.
- Driven and proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of contract and/or corporate law is a plus but not required.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Perform accurate and timely review of the submitted operational reports of the portfolio hotels, perform the required analysis to the operating results, while liaising with the hotel operators for inquiries and clarifications, and prepare input notes on any critical areas for the consideration of the asset manager.
- Review and analyze the submitted budgets by hotel operators and provide input to management, in order to challenge and debate the budgets and underlying assumptions.
- Work with the hotel operators to forecast, monitor, and manage cash flow of the hotels, ensuring financial obligations are met.
- Ensure full compliance to Hotel Management Agreement, Franchise Agreement, Loan Agreement, Lease Agreement, and other agreements as applicable, and outline any potential breaches to the agreements to take the required actions.
- Conduct ad-hoc research studies as instructed whether related to the review of operated hotels or any other related topics of interest.
- Assist with preparation of presentations, reports, and internal materials for management and stakeholders.
- Support the asset management team on various initiatives and special projects as required.
