About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role in our finance structure. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will lead and mentor a dedicated team of accounting professionals, driving efficiency across AP and AR functions within a dynamic, fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee AP, AR, and Inventory functions, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as a key leadership link, supporting the Accounting Manager in streamlining operations and team development.
• Coordinate effectively with regional Procurement teams on cross-border transactions.
• Manage VAT documentation and compliance for export/import activities.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing on trading-specific accounting practices to the team.

Qualifications:

• Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience in Accounting (AP & AR), with a strong preference for candidates from Trading or Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries.
• Certification:CPD License is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of VAT regulations and Export/Import accounting procedures.
• Language: Intermediate English proficiency (Ability to coordinate with regional stakeholders).
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and foster a positive team environment.
