How You Will Make An Impact
In this role, you will drive visual merchandising (VM) excellence across boutiques and point-of-sale (POS), translating Maison vision into locally relevant and commercially impactful executions.
You play a critical role in elevating brand desirability while supporting business performance and your responsibilities include shaping the visual experience, strengthening operational discipline and enabling retail team to consistently deliver brand-led and high performing environments.
VM Implementation, Planning and Strategy
- Own end-to-end VM execution across boutiques and POS, ensuring consistent excellence during launces and seasonal animations.
- Translate HQ guidelines into commercially effective local implementations, considering unique boutique constraints such as assortment, layout/space and stock levels.
- Drive strong in-store presence and VM excellence through regular boutique/POS visits, strategically supporting product launches and display strategies.
- Facilitate successful novelty launches and maintains brand integrity by overseeing VM implementations and aligning displays with the Marketing and Communication launch calendar.
- Oversee PLV assets and planification of investment, including the standards, quality, and placement, ensuring assets are relevant, well-maintained, and optimally deployed.
- Act as a core contributor to boutique openings, renovations, pop-ups, and key events, partnering closely with regional and local teams, as well as external vendors.
VM Operations and Governance
- Ensure seamless execution of the VM activation calendar through disciplined order placement, delivery and installation, based on activation calendar.
- Work in tandem with Regional Visual Experience team on PLV forecasting, consumption, inventory control and budget stewardship.
- Maintain strong vendor partnerships through effective coordination, timely invoicing, and operational follow-through.
- Safeguard VM assets by ensuring fixtures, props, and lighting are maintained to brand standards, proactively addressing repairs or replacements.
- Strengthen visibility and reporting by maintaining accurate documentation and a robust photo database of seasonal and permanent displays.
VM Capability Building and Support
- Equip boutique and watch specialists with fundamental VM skills through hands-on training and regular on-site coaching.
- Empower boutique/retail and watch specialists to uphold VM standards independently, fostering ownership, consistency and collaboration across network.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in a similar industry.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in visual merchandising, interior design or other related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite software; SAP familiarity is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in project management with proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels within a complex, matrix environment.
- Demonstrate creativity and an eye for design, colour theory, and aesthetics.
- Strong interpersonal skills (for training and negotiations) and with good command of both spoken and written English.
- Skilled at applying a commercial mindset to create impactful in-store experiences that reflect Maison identity and contribute to business success.
- A good team player, ability to be flexible with incoming tasks with good time management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility working hours based on business or project requirements and travel within country is required (70% on field, 30% in office).
