Shangri-La Chiang Mai is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled
Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Engineering Department in maintaining the hotels facilities and systems to the highest standard. This position is under

Shangri-Las service and safety standards.
Key Responsibilites
- Assist the Chief Engineer in the daily operation and administration of the Engineering Department.
- Supervise the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment.
- Ensure that all engineering operations strictly follow Shangri-La standards, safety regulations, and legal compliance.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure guest comfort and equipment reliability.
- Support energy conservation efforts and sustainability initiatives in accordance with company policies.
- Lead and coach engineering team members with a focus on safety, service, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and effective engineering support.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and emergency calls with professionalism and care.
