Position: Assistant E-Commerce Manager / Manager
Job Summary
The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for driving online sales performance of hotels through OTA management, revenue optimization, content strategy, and data-driven analysis. This role works closely with hotels, OTA market managers, and internal revenue teams to maximize visibility, booking conversion, and overall revenue performance in alignment with the company's e-commerce and revenue management strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hotel Analysis & Strategy
• Conduct hotel information review and SWOT analysis (property, competitors, market positioning)
• Analyze hotel performance by room type, market segment, and OTA channel
• Develop e-commerce and revenue action plans based on market demand, seasonality, and competition
2. Content & Review Management
• Oversee hotel content accuracy and quality across OTAs (room details, photos, descriptions, policies)
• Ensure content and review strategies support conversion rate and brand positioning
3. Rate Structure & Revenue Management
• Design and manage hotel rate structures including BAR, derived rates, promotions, and packages
• Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and ADR
• Monitor rate parity, availability, restrictions, and pricing logic across OTAs
4. Promotion & Campaign Management
• Plan, set up, and optimize OTA promotions and campaigns
• Evaluate campaign performance and ROI
• Coordinate with OTA Market Managers (MM) to access visibility programs and exclusive deals
• To ensure correct display, booking flow, and pricing accuracy
• Identify and resolve rate, inventory, or promotion errors proactively
5. Booking Monitoring & Performance Tracking
• Monitor daily booking pace, pickup, cancellations, and trends
• Track performance against budget, forecast, and targets
6. Improve hotel visibility & Channel Growth
• Improve hotel visibility and ranking on primary OTAs
• Develop strategies to boost production from secondary OTAs
7. OTA Relationship Management
• Work closely with OTA Market Managers to negotiate campaigns, visibility, and commercial support
• Maintain professional relationships with OTA partners
• Escalate and resolve OTA-related issues efficiently
8. Hotel Relationship & Business Review
• Lead onboarding meetings with new hotels
• Present e-commerce strategy, action plans, and performance insights
• Conduct regular business reviews with hotels and provide clear recommendations
9.Team Leadership & Performance Support
• Act as a team leader for the E-commerce team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure team members perform their duties effectively
• Translate e-commerce and revenue strategies into clear tasks and priorities for the team
• Support, coach, and monitor team members in OTA operations, content management, rate setup, campaign execution, and case handling
• Review team outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with e-commerce and revenue strategies
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineer, Hospitality Management, , or related fields
• 2–5 years of experience in hotel e-commerce, OTA management, or revenue management (is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of major OTAs (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.)
• Proven analytical and revenue optimization skills
• Ability to present data-driven insights to hotel stakeholders
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (BI tools is a plus)
• Experience working with multiple hotels is an advantage
