Job Description
Key responsibilities may include:
- Channel Management:
- Managing relationships with key online travel agencies (OTAs) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to ensure accurate room availability and pricing.
- Implementing and maintaining channel management systems to synchronize room inventory across all distribution channels.
- Monitoring and optimizing channel mix to maximize revenue across different platforms.
- Pricing Strategy:
- Analyzing market trends and competitor pricing to develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies on various channels.
- Managing room inventory allocation across different booking channels to optimize yield.
- Implementing revenue management tools and techniques to maximize revenue potential.
- Website Distribution:
- Managing the online booking engine on the Minor Hotel brand websites, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal conversion rates.
- Optimizing website content and functionality to drive direct bookings.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as booking volume, conversion rates, and average daily rate (ADR) across all distribution channels.
- Generating comprehensive reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyzing data to inform strategic decisions regarding distribution channels and pricing strategies.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns to drive bookings through various channels.
- Managing online promotional codes and packages to maximize revenue.
- Technical Expertise:
- Staying updated on the latest e-distribution technologies and industry trends.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to channel management systems and online booking platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in hotel e-distribution, revenue management, and channel management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders
- Expertise in using channel management systems and online booking platforms
- Knowledge of hotel operations and industry best practices
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred
Qualifications
- At least Bachelor's Degree in any related filed.
- Experience in online marketing roles in the hotel or travel industry.
- Very good written & verbal English is essential.
- Good understating of Search Engine Optimization and Pay-per-clicks tactics.
- Experience in using Content Management Systems.
- Proficient analytical web skills and ability to analyze website performance data (i.e. financial, statistical and /or performance).
- Strong analytical skills are a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
