Assistant Finance and Accounting Manager (Urgent)

On-site, based in Bangkok, Thailand

We are a recruitment agency seeking a talented Finance and Accounting to join a fast-growing food tech company. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with an end-to-end accounting background (AP/AR) to take on a key role. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, independent individual who is eager to manage the company's P&L and cash flow while supporting strategic business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Reporting: Prepare financial data, project background information, and cost/sales inputs for strategic analysis. Develop summary reports and presentations for executive meetings.
  • Financial Closing & Control: Coordinate monthly/quarterly financial closing with the accounting team. Conduct initial reviews of accounting documents for completeness and monitor financial statement preparation, providing highlights to the CFO.
  • Cash Flow Management: Consolidate weekly/monthly cash flows, maintain and update the Cash Flow Forecast, and track expenditure status to report the current cash position to the CFO.
  • Analysis & Budgeting: Gather project cost data, prepare preliminary project feasibility analyses, and conduct financial analysis (e.g., Budget vs. Actual comparisons) as assigned. Generate monthly executive performance reports.
  • Tax Compliance & External Liaison: Collect and verify monthly VAT data and tax documentation for submission to advisors/auditors. Coordinate and prepare documentation for banks, financial institutions, external auditors, and government agencies (e.g., Revenue Department).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with proven ability to handle paperwork efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in creating reports and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • A solid understanding of the Real Estate business is an advantage.
  • Prior experience with the Pojjaman accounting software will be given special consideration.
