Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing in accordance with SFRS and group reporting requirements.
- Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
- Prepare financial reporting packages, schedules, and supporting documentation for headquarters reporting.
- Support GST, Corporate Income Tax, ACRA filing requirements, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant stakeholders during audits and compliance reviews.
- Monitor daily accounting transactions, cash flow activities, and financial records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and enhance internal control processes and accounting procedures.
- Guide, review, and support the work of junior accounting team members.
- Participate in accounting system implementation projects and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience with full sets of accounts.
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Experience in GST compliance and local tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting ERP systems.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or reviewing the work of junior staff is preferred.
- CPA or ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
- Experience in accounting system implementation is an added advantage.
