Job Description
- Oversee general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses for senior leadership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve business performance and identify growth opportunities
- Act as a finance business partner to support commercial and cross-functional teams in achieving business objectives
- Enhance accounting systems and financial processes to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting quality
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate inventory counts, fixed asset verification, and other control activities
- Liaise with auditors, government agencies, and relevant external stakeholders on statutory and tax matters
- Participate in finance-related projects and business initiatives as required
- Support team development and contribute to building finance capabilities within the organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes and align with global finance guidelines
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- MBA is an advantage
- Valid CPD license
- At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L analysis
- Strong knowledge of TFRS, NPAE, and IFRS
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong business acumen with a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and simplify reporting processes
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Detail-oriented, fast learner, and capable of working under tight deadlines
