Job Description

  • Oversee general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses for senior leadership
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve business performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Act as a finance business partner to support commercial and cross-functional teams in achieving business objectives
  • Enhance accounting systems and financial processes to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting quality
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate inventory counts, fixed asset verification, and other control activities
  • Liaise with auditors, government agencies, and relevant external stakeholders on statutory and tax matters
  • Participate in finance-related projects and business initiatives as required
  • Support team development and contribute to building finance capabilities within the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes and align with global finance guidelines

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • MBA is an advantage
  • Valid CPD license
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L analysis
  • Strong knowledge of TFRS, NPAE, and IFRS
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong business acumen with a commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and simplify reporting processes
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Detail-oriented, fast learner, and capable of working under tight deadlines
