Assistant Finance Manager - Thailand

DP World is welcoming an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team, supporting our operations in Thailand.

In this key role, you'll work closely with the dynamic finance team to manage and optimize our financial activities, ensuring we stay on track with our goals and remain compliant with all financial regulations.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the Finance Director in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Manage the cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits, including periodic tax declarations (CIT, VAT, FCT).
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
• Monitor loan payments and submit required reports to government agencies.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA/CMA certification is a plus).
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• ERP experience is required, with proficiency in Oracle being a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• An in-depth understanding of tax regulations applicable to the freight forwarding industry is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
