ROLE OVERVIEW

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operational performance of Fira. This is a hands-on, floor-driven role suited to a strong hospitality operator with experience in high-volume, music-led, premium lifestyle venues.

The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations across all Fira venues, maintaining service standards, leading teams, supporting financial controls, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while upholding the energy, culture, and brand identity of Fira.

KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Management: Support daily operations across all venues, act as Manager on Duty during peak periods and events, ensure service standards, venue presentation, safety, and operational flow.

Human Resources: Support recruitment, onboarding, training, staff development, scheduling, performance management, and team engagement while promoting a positive and professional culture.

Finance, Accounting & Reporting: Assist in monitoring daily sales, labor costs, operating expenses, KPIs, cash handling, reporting, and revenue optimization initiatives.

Food & Beverage & Events: Support F&B operations, service flow, supplier coordination, promotions, DJ programming, private events, and special activations in collaboration with kitchen, bar, marketing, and external partners.

Service & Guest Experience: Ensure consistently high-quality guest experiences, manage guest feedback professionally, maintain customer relationships, and uphold service standards across all touchpoints.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and local regulations, monitor crowd flow and capacity, and support incident reporting and risk management.

Property & Venue Standards: Support upkeep, cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of all venues, ensuring the property remains in optimal condition at all times.

THE RIGHT PERSON

Experienced: 35+ years in an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior supervisory role within premium hospitality, beach clubs, nightlife, or high-volume F&B environments.

Hands-On Leader: Comfortable leading from the floor in fast-paced, high-energy settings.

Guest-Focused: Service-driven with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with strong operational discipline and follow-through.

Commercially Aware: Understands costs, margins, labor control, and service efficiency.

Adaptable & Energetic: Thrives in music-led, event-driven environments and flexible schedules.

Strong Communicator: Clear, confident, and professional across all levels of the organization.
